I am super excited to announce my first Momtog Workshop to be held Jan 28th in the Killeen area! This is an awesome opportunity for you to learn how to get the most out of your DSLR camera with hands on learning from me. You do not have to be a mom, or have much knowledge at all about photography! Space will be limited and the workshop will be hosted in a home in Killeen on Saturday the 28th at 10am. The class will be at least 2 hours and can go longer if need be.
Here is what it will consist of:
A quick and simple overview of the basics of shooting in Manual mode (including exposure, ISO, and shutter speed).
Achieving beautiful straight out of camera (SOOC) images.
A chance for you to ask questions with hands on training.
“Seeing” the light.
Included with workshop:
Many Ah-ha moments!
A beautiful camera strap cover.
A cheat sheet to help you remember all the basics.
What you should bring:
Your DSLR camera (or a camera that lets you change settings like ISO and shutter speed)
Your manual that came with the camera if you can.
A 50mm 1.8 lens or similar lens- not a must have but will make a BIG difference.
Any questions you would like me to try to answer!
I promise you will learn soooo much and walk away with the knowledge to take even better pictures!

Here is a super fast video of me working. This is a little over an hour of real shooting time! Also, this is normally the beginning half of the session reserving the end for family shots. I hope this gives you an idea of what to expect for our session!

I hope everyone is having an amazing summer so far! I have been really enjoying this time with my family and I hope you have been too =)
I have an awesome promotion that will be going on for the month of July for moms expecting in September, October, and November. This is really what my heart loves to do and I want to fill my calendar with babies and expectant moms! Here is what you get with a booked newborn session in July for those months:
Reserve your tentative date with $100 deposit (a savings of $50), and receive a custom newborn session for up to 3 hours, a $150 print credit toward any collection to be used before the expiration of your gallery, 24 custom photo birth announcements, and a password protected gallery to share with friends and family. If you would like a maternity session also, you can purchase one along with a newborn session for $145 (a savings of $50) with a $195 print credit toward any collection. This may be split between the two orders, and still includes announcements and a private gallery.
