Oh…..my….. goodness. Since my camera is practically attached to my hand, my children don’t really want to deal with “mommy the photographer” all the time. I can’t blame them….but hey- I want good pictures of my babies! I got one today, and I love it! It really reflects my children. My silly little girl who loves her big brother, and the big brother who watches out for his baby sis. I really like it. I see a canvas print in my future!!

Some recomendations for clothing on your session

I thought it would be neat to show you some outfits for children that I liked. Remember, this is just a starting point! They are YOUR family pictures and they should reflect your family’s style. Also, simple is always a great way to showcase your children, the focus of the portrait is on them. But if you are like me….I like a little color pop in some picture too! They become fun, funky, and modern. The trick is to have a modern picture that will not look dated in the years to come. So I did a little window shopping for you to get some ideas!
Ok, so I will start with the girls. They are so much fun to dress!
This one is in sizes 3M- 24M, great for summer pictures surrounded by nature. 
This outfit is in 12M- 2T. It is so light and airy, and a beautiful creamy yellow.
So get them before they are gone!
And for a little older girls this outfit is from The Children’s Place, so it won’t break the bank either. Hip and modern, but won’t overpower the photo.
Ok, now for the boys:
This outfit is also from The Children’s Place.
It is for 6M- 4T, very cute!
This outfit is from The Gap, it is sporty and contemporary and would make your little guy look handsome! The layers make it easy to change his look with out having to go through too much trouble.

Little Miss Emma was wonderful! She was such a good girl for me I have plenty of pictures to show mom and dad. It was hard to narrow them down…..so I am posting a whole bunch of them! I can’t wait to take some of the family together. So here they are, bare with me….there are quite a few

The most accommodating newborn ever!

Well this blue eyed cutie was more than happy to test out my new cocoon I made. I wanted to see how it would look in the pictures and I didn’t have a newborn handy I am sure she thought it was comfortable! I have two pics here both in color and a black and white conversion. I really love all the texture with the black and white pictures. The color ones are good to see my cocoon creation! I am LOVING making these, it turned out great in the picture.
