Sacrifice: destruction or surrender of something for the sake of something else.
What soldiers do for our country on a daily basis. I am glad I get to meet so many wonderful men & women that serve our country…and glad to be married to one =) This family had to sacrifice daddy witnessing the birth of their first child…all in a days work for a soldier. I was happy to capture a few moments that this family got to spend all together. Thank you!!
PS- Look at little J’s eyelashes….gorgeous!!!!

I was super excited I could be at this family’s homecoming, she has helped me out with my children many times and I am sooooo appreciative! It was past midnight when the guys came in, but the DJ kept us entertained with some great music and all the excited kids dancing to it =) Thank you for letting me be a part of this very special moment!

The breeze was blowing, the sun was shinning, and they were home!! I can not even begin to explain the emotions you feel at the welcome home ceremonies. I don’t believe it will make a difference how many I do, they are each special and really make you appreciate the sacrifices all these families make.
The N Family was a joy to work with and I am so happy your man is home safe! Here are a few pictures:

The V Family had a loooong wait in the heat, but it was definitely worth it! The kids spotted daddy and took off so fast….I could barely keep up =) I know you are all so happy to welcome him home!

I know for me it felt like FOREVER….I can just imagine how this mommy and proud wife felt waiting for her hubby to get off the bus! They arrived right around 12:30 AM and then we could not find him for a little bit, but she spotted him! Here are a few….welcome home soldier!! Thank you for letting me be apart of your homecoming =)
