I recommend that newborn sessions be booked in the second trimester. If you're trying to book something within a month, contact me as soon as possible to see if I have any availability. I schedule newborn sessions between 7-14 days old, but will happily schedule an older newborn or preemie that has been in the NICU if I am available. The session includes my hand picked collection of props, wraps, and bonnets. Many parents like to incorporate a special heirloom item, blanket, or some other item that may have special meaning to them.

The Classic Newborn Session starts at $450 and includes 15 high resolution digital images that can include parents. You will get to view the entire gallery from your session, and you will get to choose your favorites from those images. You can pick the set number of included images with your session fee, add additional images at a per-image price, or purchase the full gallery.

All digital files include a print release for you to print where you would like.
In your gallery you also have the option to order professional prints from my preferred lab. These are available at a reduced cost as I want you to have high quality professional prints that are color calibrated to my specifications.

To book a session or inquire with additional questions, simply fill out the contact form on this page. I'll get in touch with you (usually within 24 hours) and we can discuss details like the date and time for your session and I can answer any other questions you may have. I'll email you my detailed booking information where you'll have the chance to review package options, go over and sign the contract, and pay the session retainer to hold your preferred date.

I'll check in around your due date, and you will let me know when baby arrives. We will then schedule your exact session date and time. Keep in mind I only book a certain amount of newborn sessions each month in order to accommodate when babies actually deliver.
I recommend that newborn sessions be booked in the second trimester.

If you've already had your baby or are almost due, please contact me right away to find out if I have any availability.

Make sure to read over the FAQs below!

I’m interested in just a Newborn Session, what important info do I need to know about booking my session?
I have found that it is definitely best to do the Newborn Session when baby is between 7 and 14 days old if at all possible. Usually right around 7 days is perfect! Just like with Maternity Sessions, it is NEVER too early to contact me to schedule your Newborn Session. Usually, contacting me when you are between 6 & 7 months works well. I can only accept a limited number of Newborns each month, so booking your session early secures your spot (even if baby comes early or late)! Then, once baby arrives you will need to contact me within 48 hours to finalize the date for your session.

I was not able to book my Newborn Session early, is there a chance you might still be able to fit me in?
I can not guarantee that I will be able to fit you in but there may be a chance that we can work something out with a little notice. If you know in advance that you would like me to be your newborn photographer then I most definitely DO NOT recommend waiting to secure your session. However, if something happens where you are not able to book your session early, please go ahead and contact me and we can see if there might be a way to fit you in.

What if baby comes early after I have booked?
Because I take a limited number of sessions, I typically have space for babies that come early or a little late. If your baby is admitted to the NICU, I ask that you keep me updated so we can plan the session soon after baby is discharged.

Where does the newborn session take place?
This is my favorite question to answer- I bring the studio to you! I typically set up in the baby's nursery if available and space allows, but I have set up in many different areas of my clients homes. No need to travel with baby or get out in bad weather or traffic, just relax in your home while I photograph your little one.

Do I need to provide any props or newborn outfits/ hats?
There is no need to provide anything for the session except baby! I have a collection of hand picked props, bonnets, headbands, wraps and blankets that I bring with me to the session. If you have an heirloom item, I am happy to incorporate it into the session. I will have an idea of your favorite colors once you fill out the newborn questionnaire.

What should I wear for family images?
Classic, light colors including white, cream, and gray always look great for family images. I recommend to stay away from bold colors and patterns to keep a timeless look.

Are you vaccinated for Pertussis (Whooping Cough)? I am, my most recent vaccine was in 2014.
